Joe: Thought you might be interested in this post on the PCWorld blog regarding server deals Canonical is making with hardware vendors like Dell. Maybe this will make Ubuntu a bigger player in the server market.

Joe: Liked your post on the Walt Mossberg review. I do think Ubuntu got a bit of a bad rap on some of his comments (some of the criticisms are not the fault of Ubuntu or Linux, but more of Dell or the nature of open source). I'm working on a post on my blog (sksteve.wordpress.com) re: same. I think Shuttleworth and Canonical can work out many of these issues in the next year or so. Linux is definitely closer to prime time than it ever has been.
Joe: I have been blogging on law office tech since the beginning of this year, but have been involved in that area for 20 years. I recently installed Ubuntu on an old machine at home, and as soon as I can get the wireless card working (Arggh) I am sure I will have lots of fun!
